Victoria Nelson, president of Jewel On The Fly, was born in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to Boise, Idaho for 30 years. In 2012 she moved back to Houston, Texas. For three years she worked for a local jewelry manufacturer doing jewelry appraisals and in 2014 opened her own gemology laboratory in the Galleria area. After hurricane Harvey, in 2017 she closed her office and in 2018 opened a new gemology laboratory in S.W. Houston.
